Video Calling On Facebook

Facebook is constantly thinking of new ways of keeping in touch with your friends and family. They did not feel that Facebook Chat was enough to just communicate over instant message; they went a step further and incorporated video calling. This allows you to bring your conversations to life in the simplest way. Facebook has worked together with Skype, a video calling tool to allow you to video chat with any of your Facebook friends with a click of a button.

There are two ways to get to the video chatting option. On the top of each instant message, there shows a small video camera. If that person is logged on to Facebook and has a camera connected to their computer, it connects you two and allows you to communicate while seeing each other. The other way to video chat is if you go to their Facebook profile, and again if that person is on-line it then gives you the option to Call that person. This is extremely convenient being able to see the person you’re talking to. For example, if your child is away at college and you won’t be able to see them for a while this allows you to be able to see them face to face as if you are close together. This is also a great way to catch up best pal when they live far away.
